A Kenosha tradition since 1950

Tenuta's is more than just a grocery store, it's a trip across the world and back in time. Italian immigrants John & Lydia Tenuta took ownership in 1950 of a small store just a bit larger than a two-car garage. It served malts and sundaes, and had a small deli counter. Today, Tenuta's is operated by the third generation and offers a selection of specialty merchandise and gourmet items from around the world for purchase - the smells are free.

Dining

Kenosha County

Dining in the Kenosha Area can be a wide range of experiences, depending on what you're in the mood for. There's an old train car-turned-diner, sazzy, jazzy bistros, gourmet hot spots, a true Wisconsin supper club (or two, or three...) and competing, cross-town drive-ins that both claim to be the best in the city. And that's not even bringing the abundance of family-run, scratch Italian restaurants into the conversation! Buon Appetito!
